Custom UV Printed Products — Full-Color Printing on Almost Anything

UV printing applies full-color artwork directly to the product surface and cures it instantly with UV light. Here is what it can do, where it excels, and which products it works best on.

UV printing is a direct-to-surface process: ink is applied directly to the product and cured instantly by a UV light source. Unlike screen printing, it does not require screens, plates, or minimum color runs. Unlike pad printing, it can reproduce photographic detail and gradients. The result is a full-color image with crisp edges directly on the product surface, without a transfer layer or film.

What UV Printing Can Reproduce

  • Full-color logos with multiple colors — no per-color pricing
  • Gradients and color transitions without banding
  • Photographic images with near-photographic detail
  • Fine text and line work at sizes that other methods lose
  • Brand-specific Pantone and CMYK colors matched closely
  • White ink on dark or transparent surfaces

UV Printing vs. Laser Engraving

UV printing and laser engraving are complementary methods available on many of the same products. Choose UV printing when color is essential — a full-color logo, a photo, specific brand colors. Choose laser engraving when permanence is the priority. Engraving removes material from the surface and cannot fade, whereas UV printing, while durable, is a surface application. Both methods are available on tumblers, keychains, and journals.
