From order to shipped. Here's the exact timeline.

Every custom order gets a digital proof before we touch a single piece. This page covers when you'll see it, what to do with it, and what happens if you don't respond.

    Order placed

    Day 0

    You complete checkout. We receive the order and your artwork is queued for our production team.

    Proof delivered to your inbox

    Within 24 hours

    A digital proof lands in your email (Mon–Fri by 5 pm PT). The proof shows exactly how your logo, text, or design will appear on the product — placement, size, and color.

    Orders placed after 3 pm PT Friday or on weekends are processed the next business day. Your 24-hour clock starts at 9 am PT Monday.

    Your approval window

    Next business day by 5 pm PT

    Approve the proof by the following business day at 5 pm PT to start the 5–7 business day production clock. You can approve, request edits, or ask questions — all from the link in the proof email.

    Need edits? One free revision round is included. Approval of the revised proof starts the production clock.

    Production begins

    5–7 business days after approval

    We engrave, print, and pack your order. Standard production is 5–7 business days from proof approval. Larger or complex runs may take an additional day — we'll tell you in the proof if that applies. Need it faster? Rush production is 2–3 business days at a 20% rush fee ($25 min, $300 max).

    Shipped with tracking

    Production day 2–3

    You receive a shipping confirmation with a UPS or USPS tracking number. Standard ground transit from Las Vegas is 2–5 business days to most US addresses.

What if I don't approve in time?

We don't silently drop your order. Here's the reminder sequence after your proof goes out:

  1. Reminder 1: If you haven't approved 24 hours after the proof email, we send one automated reminder.
  2. Reminder 2: If there's still no response after another 24 hours, a second reminder goes out.
  3. Personal check-in: After two reminders with no response, someone from our team emails you directly to ask if you have questions or need changes.
  4. Production holds until approval: We will not start production on a custom order without an explicit proof approval. This protects you from a batch of items made with the wrong design.

If your deadline is approaching and you need to move quickly, reply to any proof email or email hello@thelasercraft.co and we prioritize.

Reprint policy after proof approval

Once you approve a proof, you're confirming that the design, placement, and sizing are correct. If we then produce something that differs from the approved proof — a production error — we reprint at no charge.

Need it faster? Rush production.

Rush production cuts the window to 2–3 business days from proof approval. Rush is priced at a 20% surcharge on the product subtotal ($25 minimum, $300 maximum). No same-day or overnight production.

  • Rush orders are available on most products — confirm availability before placing your order.
  • Rush fee applies to the product subtotal only, not shipping.
  • Proof approval is still required; approve by 5 pm PT to start the rush clock.
