How does an ion-plated cup differ from a standard stainless cup?

Underneath, it is the same double-wall vacuum-insulated stainless cup. The difference is the outer finish: standard cups use a powder coat or stainless reveal; ion-plated cups carry a Bright Gold, Rose Gold, Ghost Black, or multi-color Prism metallic finish. Your laser engraving cuts through the ion layer to reveal a contrasting silver tone underneath.

Which sizes are available in each ion finish?

Ghost Black, Rose Gold, and Prism Rainbow are available in 12oz wine tumbler, 20oz tumbler, 22oz skinny tumbler, and 32oz water bottle. Bright Gold is currently available in the 20oz tumbler only.

Is the ion-plated finish durable?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Because the color layer is bonded into the steel rather than painted on top, ion-plated finishes resist scratching, chipping, and dishwasher fade better than coated cups. Hand-washing is still recommended to keep the surface looking new.

Does each Prism cup look the same?

Accepted Answer

No — the Prism finish is a permanent multi-color surface, but each cup engraves to a unique reveal. The colored powder pigment lands differently on every blank, so when the laser cuts through, no two cups show the same pattern underneath.

Where are the ion-plated cups made?

The ion-plated cup blanks are imported from China and laser engraved in our Las Vegas facility before shipping.

Is there a minimum order on ion-plated drinkware?

No minimum — order as few as 1. Bulk discounts automatically apply at 5, 10, 20, and 24+ units, just like our standard drinkware line.
