Most branded bar products go behind the bar: the printed cups, the coasters, the napkins. A custom stir stick goes in the drink, gets lifted out by the customer, and gets looked at. For a few seconds in every order, the stir stick is the only thing a guest is holding and looking at directly. Spirits brands figured this out years ago — the branded swizzle stick is a piece of the cocktail experience, not just disposable packaging.
The Product Itself
Each stir stick is approximately 8 inches long and 1/8 inch thick laser-cut acrylic. They come in four colors: Clear, White, Frosted, and Black. UV printing and laser engraving are both available — and uniquely, both are the same price on stir sticks. Most products charge a premium for one method over the other. Here, you choose the look you want without a pricing penalty.
UV Print vs. Laser Engraving on Stir Sticks
UV printing applies full-color ink directly to the acrylic surface — your logo, your colors, your artwork reproduced accurately on the stick. It works on all four acrylic colors, though the result looks most vibrant on White and Clear. The ink sits on the surface, which means it will wear with heavy use over time.
Laser engraving etches the design into the acrylic itself — a permanent mark that cannot wear off, fade, or scratch away. The engraved finish has a tactile quality you can feel when you run your finger across it. On Clear and Frosted acrylic, the engraving produces a frosted white appearance in the engraved area. On Black, it reveals a lighter gray tone. On White, the engraved mark is subtle — a slightly recessed tone-on-tone finish.
If your stir sticks will see heavy reuse — a bar that washes and recycles them rather than disposables — laser engraving outlasts UV printing by a wide margin. For single-use event sticks, UV print is fine.
Set Sizes and Quantities
Stir sticks are sold in sets: 12, 25, 50, 100, and 250 per order. There is no single-stick minimum — you order a set. A set of 12 works for a small wedding bar cart or a photo prop situation. A set of 25 covers a dinner party or intimate event. Sets of 50 and 100 are the working quantities for event bars and brand activations. A set of 250 is a venue's quarterly supply.
Who Orders These
Wedding bar carts are one of the most common use cases — custom stir sticks with the couple's name and date on White or Clear acrylic, used at the reception bar and then kept as a small keepsake by guests who notice them. Event coordinators order them specifically because the stir stick is a detail that photographs well and elevates the overall bar presentation without requiring a significant budget.
Bars and restaurants use them as a daily branded touchpoint — a cocktail arrives with a stir stick bearing the venue's name or logo rather than a generic plastic swizzle. For a bar that cares about its visual presentation, it is a small detail that reads as intentional. Spirits brands and distilleries use them at tastings and activations to put the logo in guests' hands literally as they are tasting the product.
Pairing With the Event Bar Kit
The stir sticks are one of four items in the Event Bar Kit — a single-order kit that includes 50 stir sticks alongside 100 vinyl stickers, 10 leatherette bottle openers, and 25 drink tags. If you are outfitting a branded bar experience from scratch, the kit is more cost-efficient than ordering each item separately and applies your logo across all four products from a single design upload.
Turnaround
Most orders ship within 5 to 9 business days from Las Vegas. Every order includes a digital proof review before production. For weddings with a specific event date, order at least three weeks out to build in comfortable margin for production and shipping.
