Teacher Appreciation Week & year-round
Teacher appreciation gifts that don’t end up in the break room pile.
Engraved with their name. Used every day.
The gifts that stay on the desk in June share one trait: they have the teacher’s name on them. Engraved tumblers, keychains and journals, one order for the whole teaching team, each piece personalized at no extra charge.

The break room test
Why most teacher gifts land in the break room
The break room counter at any school in early May tells the whole story: candles, lotion sets, generic mugs, and a collection of gift cards in envelopes. Teachers receive somewhere between 5 and 30 of these every Appreciation Week. Most of them go in a drawer or get regifted. The ones that stay on the desk or travel home at the end of the year share one trait: they have the teacher’s name on them.
A gift card communicates value — it says the class spent something. An engraved gift communicates that someone thought about this specific person. Both can cost the same. The difference is whether the teacher can pick it up in June and remember who gave it to them.

Contour Cut Acrylic Keychain
School logo or mascot in a custom Contour Cut shape, UV-printed with the teacher’s name. $2.50 each with a 10-piece minimum, so a full teaching team is covered for less than the cost of one gift card. A practical item teachers see every time they grab their keys.
Shop Acrylic Keychains →Engraved 20oz Tumbler
Laser-engraved with the teacher’s name and a short note or school logo. $20.49 base, $19.68 at 15+ units, $18.86 at 25+ units. The item teachers actually use every day — coffee at 7am, water bottle during class. Keeps working as a reminder all year.
Shop Custom Tumblers →Ion-Plated Premium Drinkware
Gold, silver, or rose gold electroplated finish — a gift that reads as luxury rather than recognition. The 20oz tumbler is $29.99. Best for department heads, retiring teachers, or a principal gift. Each one engraved with the teacher’s name.
Shop Ion-Plated Drinkware →Custom Engraved Journal
For the teacher who writes: a leather-look journal with their name on the cover. $25.99 base, $23.40 at 5–11 units, $21.32 at 12+ units. Often paired with a tumbler for a two-piece class gift.
Shop Journals →How to organize a class gift
Four steps, without chasing every parent.
Most room parents have the order placed the same evening they collect the names.
Set the per-family contribution and collect up front
A $10–15 per-student contribution from a 25-student class gives you $250–375 to work with — enough for a personalized tumbler for every teacher that class shares (typically 3–6 teachers). Collect via Venmo or a class app to avoid cash handling.
Confirm teacher name spellings from the school directory
Engraving is permanent. Verify each name against the official directory or a recent email signature — not a class roster that may have nicknames. Ask the office if any teacher uses a preferred name that differs from their official name.
Place the order at least 10 business days before Appreciation Week
Standard production is 5–7 business days from order placement. Add 2–5 days shipping transit. Mid-April is the comfortable window for first-week-of-May delivery. Your design is approved in the editor before checkout, so the clock starts the day you order.
Distribute to teachers during Appreciation Week
Hand-deliver to each classroom or leave in teacher mailboxes with a card from the class. The personalized gift does the talking — you do not need elaborate packaging. Teachers notice the name.

What a teacher appreciation budget looks like
Single classroom (3–6 teachers): 3–6 engraved tumblers at $20.49 each below 5 units, or $20.09 each from 5. Budget: roughly $61.47–$100.45 for three teachers, or $120.54 for six — a personalized gift for every teacher your student has. A $10/student contribution from a 25-student class covers this entirely.
Grade-level gift (20–30 teachers): 20 tumblers at the 20-unit tier are $19.57 each, $391.40 total. Coordinated by a grade-level parent rep or the PTA — one order, 20 personalized gifts.
Whole-school staff (40–80 teachers + support staff): 50–75 engraved tumblers in one order land at the 50-unit tier, $18.04 each (12% off). Every teacher, specialist, counselor, librarian, and office staff member gets the same quality personalized gift. See every tier.

Common questions
Frequently asked questions
When is Teacher Appreciation Week?
Teacher Appreciation Week is the first full week of May each year. Teacher Appreciation Day is the Tuesday of that week. Order by mid-April to stay in standard production (5–7 business days) with comfortable margin.
Can each teacher’s gift have their individual name on it?
Yes — every unit can carry a unique engraving with no per-name fee. Submit a list with each teacher’s name and any custom text. You pay per unit at the tier price; the personalization is included.
What’s the minimum order for a class gift?
No hard minimum on drinkware — you can order a single engraved tumbler for one teacher. Tier pricing starts at 5 units and improves from there. Most room parent orders for a teaching team land in the 5–20 range, right in the tier pricing sweet spot. Acrylic keychains are the one exception, with a 10-piece minimum.
How does a whole-school teacher appreciation order work?
The PTA or gift coordinator collects all teacher and staff names, confirms spellings, and places one consolidated order. At 25+ units an engraved tumbler is $18.86 (8% off); at 50+ it is $18.04 (12% off). One invoice, every staff member gets a personalized gift.
What if I need gifts for paraprofessionals and support staff too?
Include them in the same order — more units means better tier pricing, and every staff member gets the same quality gift. Full K-8 staffs including specialists, office, and counselors typically land in the 30–60 range.
