What are the design limitations for die cut acrylic keychains?
Die cut acrylic keychains are contour-cut to match the silhouette of your artwork. The main limitations: minimum feature (protrusion or bridge) size is approximately 3mm — anything thinner risks snapping during cutting or shipping. Very intricate internal cutouts are also limited. Fine text should be no smaller than 8pt. Full-color printing has no ink restrictions, but very dark backgrounds may show the edge of the acrylic. The editor flags fine detail as you design, and we review every file before cutting.
What is the minimum order quantity for custom die cut keychains?
The minimum order is 10 pieces. Quantity-break pricing applies automatically above that: 20+, 25+, 50+, 100+, 250+ and 500+ pieces each unlock a lower per-piece rate. Even the largest orders price automatically — no quote needed.
Do I approve my design before my keychains go into production?
Yes — always. The live editor shows the exact cut line, print area, and how the design will look on the finished keychain, and you approve your design in the editor before you check out. After checkout our team runs a technical preflight and contacts you before cutting if anything about the file needs attention.
How long does it take to receive custom die cut keychains?
Standard production is 5–7 business days from order placement, plus ground transit (2–5 business days for US addresses). Rush production (2–3 business days from order placement) is available at a +20% surcharge ($25 minimum). We do not offer same-day or in-person pickup.
How do I get a bulk quote for die cut keychains?
Add to cart and quantity discounts apply automatically at every size — the price you see is the final price, even on the largest runs. For custom requirements the store does not cover (specific acrylic colors, custom packaging), send a special request at thelasercraft.co/bulk-orders with quantity, size, and a description or file of your artwork.
Can I print on both sides of the keychain?
No. Acrylic keychains are printed on one side only, at every size and in every acrylic color. There is no double-sided option and no special-request workaround — the artwork you upload is printed on the front face, and the back is the bare acrylic in the color you choose. If you need information on a second face, poker chips and luggage tags are printed or engraved on both sides.
